This policy explains how JG Software Ltd, trading as JG Scripts, uses cookies and similar technologies on jgscripts.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies may store information in your browser or access information necessary to provide a requested function. Some last for a browsing session; others remain for a specified period or until removed.

How we use these technologies

• Shopping and sign-in. Session storage maintains your basket, signed-in state and requested actions. It is cleared or replaced on logout, expiry or creation of a new session. Your browser may restore a session. Some linked-account sessions may remain for up to 30 days.
• Security. Session and short-lived checks protect sign-in, forms and transactions against unauthorised use and automated abuse. These are not used for advertising.
• Preferences. Browser storage remembers choices such as your selected currency and dismissed notices. Those choices remain until cleared or replaced.
• Privacy choices. A first-party preference cookie remembers whether optional audience measurement is enabled in this browser for one year. It records a setting, not a unique visitor identifier.

Audience measurement

We use limited measurement to understand visits, referrals, approximate country, broad device categories and store performance. Our reporting presents statistical summaries. This includes limited counts of product views, visible recommendations, interactions with product information and progress through basket and checkout steps, together with broad error categories. We do not use persistent analytics cookies, cross-site advertising identifiers or session recordings.

Measurement providers acting on our behalf may process limited request information and use temporary visitor recognition lasting no more than 24 hours. Limited visit information may also be associated with a shopping basket and purchase for up to 24 hours, with the matching association removed once counted or expired. Financial records are maintained separately. Temporary matching is not necessarily anonymous processing. Further information about purposes, recipients and retention is in our Privacy Policy.

You can disable new optional measurement using the control below. Essential shopping, security and transaction processing are unaffected. Where consent is required by applicable law, an optional use must not be enabled without it; continued browsing is not consent.

Content and services provided by others

External checkout, sign-in, community and media services are subject to their own policies. Embedded video players are loaded only when you choose to play them. Information about the provider and the processing involved is displayed with the player before activation.

Managing cookies and storage

Your browser settings allow you to review, block or delete cookies and other site data. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, disrupt your basket or affect other requested functions. Deleting stored preferences resets them. Supported browser privacy signals are respected for optional measurement.

Former analytics storage is removed where accessible when the site loads. We cannot remove data held by another website or browser profile. Privacy choices do not retrospectively delete information already provided; the Privacy Policy explains how to exercise your data protection rights.
